I have been wanting some Valentine's decorations and with the snow, we needed some things to keep Buddy occupied. I found the idea to make a
Valentine's Wreath on
DLTK's Growing Together.
It was perfect and I cut out the hearts during nap time. If your child is older, he or she can cut the hearts out by themselves but Buddy is still working on scissor skills. We also did not have a paper plate so I cut out a circle from construction paper.
Buddy glued the hearts down to the wreath and we discussed the different sizes and colors.

His finished wreath! We'll hang it up after the glue dries using yarn.
Both of these crafts are easy to do and have a minimal list of supplies, perfect for a rainy or snowy day!
