Jon is the Associate Pastor of Students at our church and being in ministry has made life very interesting. Being on staff at a church means our children are constantly observed and increases the pressure to do things 'right'. This is where God is slowly giving me a measure of grace as I am realizing that I am accountable only to Him. Because I am accountable to God, I long to be shown faithful in teaching my children the way to Christ and growing them in their faith.
My heart prayer is that Buddy, Sweetpea, and Ladybug come to know Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of their lives and stay strong in their belief. Since I am with them the majority of the day, my life must reflect Christ to them and I must be purposeful in living my faith. This blog is just a few of the ways that our family is being more purposed about the things we think about, talk about, and do in our home.
